Cups Kamakura Cafe and Hotel

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Cups Kamakura Cafe and Hotel by Takuji Kamio Cups Kamakura is a cafe restaurant, which also has the hotel function. Because the property is facing to the ocean, Kamio Design tried to expand the inspirations from water. They made several graphics concerning to water and transformed the inspired images to attempt into cafe and hotel spaces by carefully dealing with color balance, sunlight reflection, and material selection. Also, the building is 50 years old, and the team needed to work on preservation carefully while applying the new design aspects.
