Architecture, Building and Structure Design QMC Hospital Day Treatment Centre by Adrian Light QMC Hospital is a day treatment centre located on the campus of the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham, United Kingdom. The building holds 15 departments, including diagnostics and theatre suites, across two operational floors of 9,500 square metres. The plan is arranged around a central atrium, which brings natural light into the interior and supports high levels of sustainability. Circulation areas are enclosed in clear glass. A careful study of consultation space made the building about 20 percent smaller than standard criteria would require.
